1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the services provided by Dippo Lills Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By booking any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use our services.


2. Services Offered

Dippo Lills Ltd is a UK-only courier and logistics provider offering:

  • Urgent same-day delivery
  • Multi-drop courier services
  • Next-day delivery
  • Pallet transport services

Services are available exclusively within the United Kingdom and are provided to both individual and business clients.


3. Booking & Confirmation

  • Bookings may be placed through our website, by email, or by phone.
  • A booking is not confirmed until full payment has been received and we have acknowledged receipt via email or phone.
  • The client is responsible for providing accurate and complete booking details, including:
    • Pickup and delivery addresses
    • Contact details
    • Parcel or pallet details (dimensions, weight, number)
    • Special access instructions (if any)
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reject bookings that violate our service terms or involve prohibited goods.

4. Payments & Cancellation Policy

  • Full upfront payment is required before dispatch of any vehicle.
  • Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, debit/credit card, or secure online payment.
  • Cancellation terms:
    • Before dispatch: £50 cancellation fee applies.
    • While en route: 50% of the job value is retained.
    • On driver arrival or post-collection: No refunds under any circumstances.

5. Delivery Terms

  • We aim to provide prompt and reliable delivery, but we do not guarantee delivery times unless agreed in writing.
  • The client or a nominated receiver must be present at the delivery point. Failure to receive may result in a re-delivery charge.
  • If delays occur due to incorrect addresses, access issues, or absence at delivery, we reserve the right to charge waiting or re-attempt fees.

6. Liability & Insurance

  • We hold Goods in Transit Insurance and Public Liability Insurance to protect customer consignments.
  • Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the coverage specified in our insurance policy unless agreed otherwise.
  • We are not liable for:
    • Indirect or consequential loss (including business loss or missed deadlines)
    • Delay or failure caused by events outside our control (e.g. traffic, weather, breakdowns)
    • Damage to improperly packaged goods
    • Loss resulting from undeclared prohibited items (see below)

7. Restricted and Prohibited Items

The following items must be declared in advance and may be restricted or refused:

  • Lithium batteries (including laptops, smartphones, vapes)
  • Aerosols or pressurised cans
  • Flammable liquids or solvents
  • Toxic, corrosive, or hazardous chemicals
  • Live animals or perishable food
  • Cash, high-value jewellery, or irreplaceable documents

Failure to declare may void insurance coverage and result in refusal of service or disposal of the consignment.


8. Packaging Requirements

  • All items must be securely packaged for transport.
  • Pallets must be shrink-wrapped, strapped, or otherwise secured to prevent movement.
  • We reserve the right to refuse collection if packaging is deemed unsafe or unsuitable.

9. Customer Responsibilities

You, the client, agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date booking details
  • Ensure someone is available at the delivery address
  • Declare any restricted items prior to booking
  • Refrain from sending illegal or hazardous goods
  • Notify us immediately of any changes to the job (e.g. address, contact person)

10. Data Collection & Privacy

We collect and store personal data only for the purpose of service delivery, invoicing, and communication. This includes:

  • Name, phone number, and email address
  • Pickup and delivery addresses
  • Booking and service history
  • Payment and invoice records (note: we do not store full card details)
  • Notes or access instructions provided by the customer

All data is stored securely and is never shared with third parties, except when required by law or for the provision of core services (e.g. payment processors).

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dippo Lills Ltd shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of income or business opportunities arising from delays, non-performance, or issues related to service delivery.


12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be handled exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
